“A Scarlet Moon” by A.R. Salandy

Hips crumble to thunderous electricity,
Tempestuous gods ruling over
A weak body
Taut with anticipation,

Satisfaction concocted in a nether world
Beyond reproach,
Where satiated fancies are lost
To the dark embrace of tender slumber.

An awakening nocturnal
To worlds enrobed with pulsing veins
And rigid inception,
A body willingly infected

With lust’s ardent serum,
But scarlet moonlight
Rouses engrossed flesh
To the mist of midnight bewitchment

Where I drown myself in doldrums
Of bitter sweet desire,
Lust satiated in dream state,
The cold fulfillment of mindful folly,

A cruel artist
Swaying to magenta heart
And consumed by mortal avidity
Only illuminated by a celestial body eternal.
